1 John 5:14-15: According to His Will
The key phrase here is "according to His will." When we pray, we cannot expect God to answer every prayer. It is important to include in our prayers just as Jesus did in Luke 22:42, "Not my will, but Your will be done."
When our prayers are not answered, it does not mean God is deaf to your pleas or does not care. He answers according to what is best for His children based on His perfect will not our imperfect desires.
It is often hard to see the big picture, but if we remember that God always has our best interests in His heart, we can always pray with confidence that God is listening and truly cares for us!
(1 John 5:14-15) And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
