I apologize for the very poor-quality picture, but I love these verses so much, I wanted to share them anyway. "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness." Sing it if you know it! Amen! God is so very loving and gracious to forgive us every single time we repent! How amazing, patient, and kind is our Heavenly Father! Read every word of the scripture below and let them all sink deep into your soul!
(Lamentations 3:20-26) My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
(Ezekiel 2:6-8) And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
Dear God, please give me a heart of flesh so that I may only follow Your ways and not my own or the ways of other people.
(Ezekiel 11:5 & 19-21) And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, "Speak; Thus saith the Lord... I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads," saith the Lord God.
