God's Grace is Sufficient for Those who Walk in the Light, Written by my Husband

God's Grace is Sufficient for Those who Walk in the Light
Written by my Husband, Mel

God's grace is sufficient for those who are truly saved and walking in the light. Salvation begins with true repentance. Repentance means that you hunger and thirst after righteousness and desire to grow in Christ. It also means you are sorry for the old sinful ways of your past and now are putting your faith in Christ. It is God's desire for you to grow in him and allow his Holy Spirit to transform you into a new creation.

(Romans 8:1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, WHO WALK NOT after the flesh, BUT after the Spirit.
God gives us grace to walk in the morning light as he has spoken to me audibly. The morning begins with a small amount of light at sunrise, as the morning progresses you have more sunlight until the sun shines at full strength at noon. So, it is for the Christian. His Grace is sufficient even if we have a small amount of light as we grow and yield to his Holy Spirit. However, God does not provide grace to continually walk in the darkness, as well as to remain apathetic toward righteousness. To know Christ is to walk in the Spirit and Not the flesh (old sinful ways).

(Galatians 5:16-25) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But IF YE BE led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
