Why I Changed the Name of this Ministry
I have again decided to change the name of this blog. I decided to take my name off the title as I am not trying to glorify myself, but Jesus Christ. The web site addresses will stay the same as will my uncompromising messages. (I have tried to also change it on the Facebook page but am having trouble doing so.) Thank you for reading!
It was difficult to sum up what I am trying to say in all my writings. I was going to rename it Inside Out, but there are other ministries with that name. However, I feel Jesus' message to the pharisees trying to teach them about keeping themselves clean inside and out is such a vital message to all of us, that I wanted it included in my title. Therefore, I decided to simply include all of Luke 11. I am not going to list it here as it is too long, please read the entire chapter on your own.
Here are the highlights of why I feel this portion of scripture sums up my ministry:
Luke 11 starts with the Lord's Prayer which you can read on your own or read the link to my writing here based on the prayer listed in Matthew 6: "The Prayers of Jesus Christ, Part1" https://thankful-julie.blogspot.com/2021/08/the-prayers-of-jesus-christ-part-1.html
Luke 11 also includes Jesus teaching that one cannot serve both Satan and Jesus when He explains how our spiritual house cannot be divided. I also wrote about this in my post "A House Divided: https://thankful-julie.blogspot.com/2024/08/a-house-divided.html
There are many important verses in between, but the other reason I chose the new name is based off of Luke 11:34-40. I also wrote about this (of course) but based off Matthew 23 called "You Cannot Fool God" https://thankful-julie.blogspot.com/2025/01/matthew-2325-28-you-cannot-fool-god.html
May Jesus guide our every step, may our hearts not be divided between Jesus and the world, and may we learn to be clean not just on the outside, but on the inside as well.
