While we are in isolation for who knows how long, consider Philippians 4:8 (included at the end). Do your choices of entertainment reflect the descriptions listed? Would Jesus be pleased with what you are watching, reading or, listening to? Do your choices include the words of Phillipians 4:8? I had to delete a book off my kindle after just a few chapters because the main character was a lesbian and it included profanity. I should have deleted it the minute I read the first swear word, but I used the excuse it was an interesting book. After the next swear word and the revelation the narrator was gay, I repented and deleted it. We don't believe Christians should watch tv or movies, but if you must, then choose wholesome programs. You are all adults and know what the Bible says. If the entertainment you choose does not reflect purity, nobility, and lovely actions (etc.), why would you choose to watch or read it? Why is indeed the question. Do you love the world more than Jesus?
If you are still unsure, then also consider Galatians 5:19-21 (also below). If the characters in your entertainment are flaunting any of the listed immoral activities, or singing about them in the songs you choose (please read it carefully), then you can be assured you are not practicing the principles of Philippians 4:8!
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
